Fuzzy Walls

Fuzzy Walls.  Located at the Market Place Village.  A beautiful mall of shops made to look like a town from past days.  Here in Oak Creek, Wisconsin holds a studio with good vibrations.  A studio that loves the past as much as the present.

  • We use Studio One as our primary DAW.  Studio One has proven to be a great platform for our workflow

  • Steinberg Cubase Pro 10

  • While tracking we use Universal Audio Apollo Console as our zero latency tracking and monitoring

  • All of our UAD channel strip and effects are run on this zero latency mixer and can emulate gear not affordable by most studios with complete accuracy

  • While mixing we have 21 processors available to run the highest quality in analog sounding digital available

  • Our primary vocal microphone is the Townsend Labs Sphere.  This cutting edge system emulates room full of microphones with complete accuracy

  • Shure SM7B dynamic microphone known to be the sound of stage brought up to recording standards

  • A custom Avantone CR-14 Ribbon microphone known for fast response and smooth tone

  • We have multiple Cloud Microphones Cloud Filters to drive dynamic and ribbon microphones with 23db of clean boost.  This radically changes the effective tonal palette to what is run through it

  • Universal Audio UAD DSP Hardware

  • UAD channel strip and effects can emulate gear available for mix not affordable by most studios with complete accuracy

  • Our primary monitors are Event Opals

  • When we want pinpoint accuracy we are using Genelec 8040A monitors

  • We have a Presonus Temblor T10 subwoofer giving us an enhanced picture of lower frequencies

  • All mixing is checked with an SPL Phonitor 2730 Headphone Monitoring Amplifier

  • Sennheiser HD800 mixing headphones

  • Shure SRH1840 mixing headphones

  • Native Instruments Kontrol S61

  • Native Instruments Maschine Studio

  • Fractal Audio Designs Axe-FX II XL

  • Line 6 Helix Rack
